Our offset services company was established in Düsseldorf-Derendorf in 1975. Alongside his business idea, Founder Hubert Bollmann also had a clear vision of how he wanted to successfully implement it on the market. In addition to a team of competent employees, this included collaboration with renowned manufacturers and absolute transparency in dealings with his customers.
When his son Michael Bollmann joined the company ten years later, Hubert Bollmann effectively transferred his path to success and his philosophy to the next generation.
With future-proofing in mind, our enterprise was transformed into a limited liability company in 1991. The following year saw a move to a new build in Düsseldorf-Hellerhof, which is our current location. The new premises allowed us to offer additional services as well as modern processes for the conversion of printing blankets and coating plates.
Michael Bollmann was appointed Managing Partner in 1995, making him responsible for day-to-day operations and for ensuring the company's smooth transition into the new millennium.
While the world ushers in a new millennium in the year 2000, Hubert Bollmann GmbH celebrates its 25th company anniversary.
Festivities are topped off when the company participates in DRUPA, the world's main printing and paper trade fair (located in Düsseldorf), for the first time.
In addition, the core business with rubber printing blankets, inline finishing and measurement technology remains the focal point. This also includes transferring the distribution rights for Agfa printing plates to a fellow market player.
Hubert Bollmann GmbH's presence at DRUPA is consistently nurtured in the subsequent years. This primarily serves the goals of always being ready to act in line with our customers' needs and to continually expand our competence in printing blankets, coating plates and printing accessories.
DRUPA 2008 sees Andreas Lübbert appointed Managing Director. Together with Michael Bollmann, Lübbert further expands the company's expertise in the provision of technical advice. To this end, they manage to recruit Michael Schmitz in 2011. Schmitz is a proven expert in coating applications, inline finishing, UV and dispersion coating and offset printing application technology as a whole.
We expand our production capacity in 2012: The range is supplemented by ISEGA-certified printing blankets, produced using a climate-neutral manufacturing process.
The management of Hubert Bollmann GmbH is expanded to form a quartet with Michael Bollmann, Andreas Lübbert and Michael Schmitz. André Jauch, as technical advisor and customer advisor in field service with a focus on web offset and special applications, also takes over as Sales Manager for Germany & GLOBAL.
